Udaipur is currently experiencing significant rainfall, which has transformed the city into a lush green landscape. However, this weather has also led to several challenges, including flight delays, power outages, and heavy traffic.

Flight Delays

IndiGo flights from Udaipur have faced delays due to the rain. A flight scheduled to depart at 8:15 AM was delayed by three and a half hours, eventually taking off at 11:42 AM. Another IndiGo flight to Jaipur, initially set for 7:45 AM, departed at 9:02 AM. Additionally, Air India's flight from Delhi, expected to arrive at 9:25 AM, landed at 9:51 AM.

Power Outage 

On Tuesday, several areas in Udaipur experienced a power cut lasting 3 to 4 hours. Affected areas include Chitrakoot Nagar, Meera Nagar, Bhuwana, Teetardi, New Navratna Complex, Sector-9, Loyara, Lakhawali, Badgaon, Pratapnagar, and Sukher.

Traffic and Road Conditions

Road conditions have worsened due to potholes on major routes such as Tekri to Udiapol, Sabina, Surajpol Road, Shobhagpura Road, University Road, and Hiran Magri. The heavy rainfall has slowed down traffic, leading to long jams. On Tuesday, vehicles were caught in traffic for hours.
