Residents are encouraged to dispose waste in waste collection vehicles...

The municipal corporation has started an awareness campaign aimed at enhancing the city's cleanliness ranking. Residents are encouraged to segregate wet and dry waste, disposing of it in designated waste collection vehicles. This initiative started from Friday, February 8,2024. Municipal Commissioner Ram Prakash highlighted the significance of this initiative, revealing the preparations for the upcoming Cleanliness Survey 2024.

City dwellers are urged to actively participate in the waste segregation efforts, with municipal employees visiting various areas to explain the process. Health Officer Satyanarayan Sharma, Health Inspector Narendra Shrimalli, and other officials provided detailed explanations during the inaugural day of the campaign. The focus remains on educating the public about the pivotal role of segregating and disposing of wet and dry waste separately.

Commissioner Ram Prakash actively inspected the ongoing public awareness campaign, underscoring its importance. He also attended religious events in the city, seizing the opportunity to remind citizens that waste should not be littered on streets during such gatherings. Prakash emphasized the shared responsibility of residents and encouraged the immediate disposal of waste in designated trash bins.
