The Municipal Corporation, under the guidance of Municipal Commissioner Ram Prakash, is actively conducting various voter awareness campaigns to ensure 100% voting participation in Udaipur. Large-scale programs are being organized, with a focus on involving business organizations in voting.

In a recent meeting chaired by Municipal Commissioner Ram Prakash, sector in-charges and supervisors decided that sanitation workers and supervisors across all 70 wards will visit every household for two consecutive days to encourage residents to vote. These workers, being in direct contact with every voter, are expected to positively influence voter turnout.

Deputy Commissioner Sudhanshu Singh chaired another meeting urging representatives of various societies and major business organizations to cooperate in achieving full voter participation. Business organizations were requested to close their establishments for half a day on voting day to facilitate employee participation, with some offering special discounts to voters.

The Hotel Association has guaranteed that, like April 19 when travel allowances were given to all employees in Rajasthan on voting day, on April 26, any employee heading to the polling station to vote will have their travel expenses covered by the hotel management for their journey to and from the polling station.

Moreover, selfie booths have been installed at all polling stations, encouraging voters to take selfies with their families after casting their votes and share them on social media to promote voting rights. Municipal Commissioner Ram Prakash emphasized the importance of every citizen using their vote and inspiring others to do the same.
