Shaktinagar Mandal has formally requested the opening of Shaktinagar Intersection. They submitted a memorandum to the District Collector through the Additional District Magistrate (ADМ) City, aligning with the concerns and input of local residents and businesses. The memorandum emphasizes the importance of the Shaktinagar intersection as a central hub and highlights the potential benefits of its reopening for both residents and businesses in the region.

According to local residents, implementing certain measures by the administration could effectively ease traffic congestion at Delhi Gate. Mukesh Madhwani, President of the Business Association, highlighted a straightforward solution to streamline traffic in the city—opening Shaktinagar intersection.

He explained that redirecting traffic bound for Shaktinagar before it reaches Delhi Gate, particularly by having vehicles turn at the Shaktinagar Corner near Ashoka Bakery, would be a practical approach. This strategic redirection has the potential to alleviate the traffic pressure currently experienced at Delhi Gate. Residents are hopeful that such initiatives will contribute to a smoother traffic flow in the area.
