Udaipur's Lab Technician Dies from Brain Stroke After Dengue Fever
In the Govardhan Vilas police station area, a tragic incident has occurred involving a lab technician from RNT Medical College. Prataplal Salvi, a 45-year-old resident of Jud Kurabad, Sector-14, and an employee in the pathology department of the college, has died after suffering from severe complications related to dengue fever.
Salvi began experiencing symptoms of fever on August 14, 2024. He was admitted to a private hospital the following day. Initial tests confirmed that he was suffering from dengue fever, and treatment was promptly started. However, despite medical intervention, Salvi's condition deteriorated rapidly.
On the evening of August 22, 2024, Salvi experienced a severe complication when blood began leaking from an artery, leading to a brain stroke. Unfortunately, despite efforts to stabilize him, Salvi passed away later that evening.
The police have registered a case based on a report filed by Salvi’s brother, Banshilal. Following the investigation, a post-mortem examination was conducted to determine the cause of death more precisely. The authorities have since returned Salvi’s body to his family for final rites.
