Udaipur's Saras Dairy Supports Milk Producers with New Initiative

Saras Dairy launches grant scheme for chaff cutter machines...

On August 22, 2024, Saras Dairy introduced a new support scheme aimed at helping milk producers by providing a Rs 15,000/- grant for the purchase of Chaff Cutter machines. This initiative was released at the Saras Dairy premises, where Union President Dalchand Dangi and Managing Director Vipin Sharma demonstrated the new machines to local dairy farmers.

The Scheme's Benefits

The scheme is designed to benefit milk producers by subsidizing the cost of chaff cutter machines. Each machine will receive a grant of Rs 15,000/-, making it more affordable for dairy farmers. The union plans to acquire approximately 300 machines based on requests from local dairy committees, which will help reduce the overall cost per unit.

Managing Director Sharma emphasized the advantages of the new machines, noting that they are designed to efficiently cut fodder, which reduces feed wastage. This not only makes the feed more digestible for animals but also saves labor and time for farmers. Sharma also encouraged producers to take full advantage of this grant to enhance their operations.

Animals Receive High-Quality Milk

In addition to promoting the use of chaff cutter machines, Sharma urged dairy producers to ensure their animals receive optimal nutrition and to supply high-quality milk. This focus on quality and efficiency is expected to improve the financial outcomes for the producers and strengthen the dairy union's operations.
