Udaipur's Shahnawaz Qadir Selected for Commonwealth Scholarship
Sheikh Shahnawaz Qadir, a research scholar from Mohanlal Sukhadia University (MLSU), Udaipur, has been selected for the prestigious Commonwealth Scholarship. He will be conducting research on nanoparticle-based cancer medication at the Nanomedicine Lab of Liverpool John Moores University in the United Kingdom for one year.
The Commonwealth Scholarship is awarded to 700 researchers worldwide, and this year, Shahnawaz Qadir is among the 60 researchers selected from India. For his research, he will receive a grant of approximately Rs. 40 lakh, and his guide, Dr. Garima Joshi, Assistant Professor in the Pharmacy Department at Sukhadia University, will support him in this project.
Professor Imran Saleem from the UK will mentor his research, while Dr. Garima Joshi will serve as his Indian mentor. Shahnawaz Qadir will be awarded a Ph.D. degree from Mohanlal Sukhadia University upon completing his research.
