SIR 2025: 66% of Udaipur Voters Verified, No Documents Required
Divisional Commissioner Pragya Kevalramani reviews voter list progress under the Special Intensive Revision 2025
]Udaipur, October 29, 2025 – A meeting was held on Wednesday with representatives of various political parties regarding the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list in Udaipur district. During the meeting, Divisional Commissioner Pragya Kevalramani provided detailed information to the party representatives about the enumeration forms, physical mapping and the process of purification and revision of the voter list.
The Divisional Commissioner said the SIR in the district is being conducted with complete transparency and impartiality. Addressing the queries and concerns of various political parties, she informed that as of October 27, 2025, there are 1,962,340 voters in the district. Of these, 66.2% of voters have already been physically mapped by matching the 2002 and 2025 voter lists. This means that 66.2% of voters will not need to submit any documents during the SIR process, and this figure is expected to increase further.
During the SIR, BLOs (Booth Level Officers) will visit households to distribute enumeration forms and later collect them. No documents will be required to be submitted along with the filled enumeration forms.
As of October 27, 2025, mapping through the BLO mobile app has been completed for 90.11% of voters above 40 years of age and 33.83% of voters below 40 years. All political parties present agreed that every eligible citizen’s name should be included in the voter list and the names of ineligible persons should be removed.
The meeting was attended by BJP representatives Gajpal Singh Rathore, Devilal Salvi, Manish Sharma, Shantilal Jain, Deepak Sharma, Dr Pankaj Borana; Congress representatives Fateh Singh Rathore, Kachrulal Chaudhary, Arun Tank, Dinesh Dave, Dr Sanjeev Rajpurohit; BSP representative Suresh Kumar Meghwal; AAP representative Mohammad Hanif; BAP representative Amit Kharadi and CPI representatives Himmat Changwal and Gebilal, among others.
