Udaipur Woman Attempts to Write RAS Mains Exam 2024 with Fake Admit Card

Investigation revealed that the woman had not even qualified for the RAS Main exam as she had failed the prelims...

A woman named Mala Goyal was caught attempting to write the RAS Mains Exam in Udaipur with a forged admission card on Sunday, July 21, 2024. Goyal arrived at a government senior secondary school in Udaipur for the exam. However, this school was not an official RAS exam center.

The school principal noticed the discrepancy and reported it to the district control room. The control room then informed the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), which conducts the RAS exams.

Upon investigation, RPSC found that the admission card Goyal presented was fake. The format of the card was different from the official ones and mentioned the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) instead of RPSC.

Further investigation revealed that Goyal had not even qualified for the RAS main exam as she had failed the prelims.

Additionally, the application number on the forged card did not match any numbers issued by RPSC for this exam. It was clear that the card had been altered from an admission card originally issued for a different RSSB exam.

RPSC officials have filed a First Information Report (FIR) against Goyal at a police station in Udaipur.

"The woman forged the RPSC main admission card and claimed it was given to her by a relative from an e-mitra center. We are investigating who actually forged the documents and why." said the police.
