UIT is now improving New RTO-Sukher Road at a cost of Rs 8.96 crores
It will give a new look to the already constructed road with four lanes
Under the new project named Re-Carpeting of Re-Strengthening, UIT will spend Rs.8.96 crore on Khel Gaon road connecting the New RTO office to Sukher Tiraha. Rs 1 crore 62 lakh rupees will be spent per kilometer to give a new look to the already constructed road with four lanes.
Excavation of Pratapnagar-Sukher intersection road starts, traffic will be diverted on Khel Gaon route
According to UIT records, this road was built about 12 years ago. Then the traffic of Pindwara used to pass from here because there was no separate route for Pindwara. This road was also useful in keeping the external traffic away from the city roads. Looking at the future needs, it was made 7.5-7.5 meters wide on both sides of the divider, but then there were no drains on the sides to drain the rainwater. Now drains are also being made alongside the road. Due to this rain water will not stop on the road.
UIT is also improving the road from Pratap Nagar to Sukher Square. Excavation is going on this route. In such a situation, this traffic can be shifted to Khel Gaon Road. The work order was given to Sanwariya Construction this year on 16 February, 2023. There is a plan to complete the work of New RTO Office-Amberi Tiraha road as soon as possible.
