Waste Material Utility Showcased at Nehru Children Garden
Swachh Bharat Mission; broken pipes, old tires and empty bottles given artistic shapes
Udaipur, 24 September 2024: An artistically-inclined Waste Wonder Park has been developed at Nehru Children Garden in the Udaipur Nagar Nigam Town Hall. This garden, set up using waste and unusable items, is aimed at showcasing utility of waste material, in compliance with the guidelines of the Swachh Bharat Mission.
Municipal Commissioner Ram Prakash informed that on September 5, 2024, a state-level Swachhata Survey team gave training on how to reuse waste materials. Participants were shown how waste items can be used to create new and artistic shapes. Under the guidelines of this survey team, the Waste Wonder Park was developed by the Municipal Corporation.
Broken cement pipes, old tires, broken stones and empty bottles have been used to beautify this park. Swaayat Shaasan Vibhaag, Jaipur, took to X to heap praises on this creation.
