Woman and her lover sentenced to life imprisonment for killing husband

The quantam of punishment was pronounced on Friday

 

Mother of two children and her paramour have been sentenced to life imprisonment the district and sessions court in Udaipur on Friday for killing her husband in 2017.

According to the information the accused Neelam Sharma a Bikrani village of Bekriya police station circle and her partner Kailash Rawal a resident of Kotwali, Sirohi were found guilty by the court. The prosecution have produced 30 witnesses and 58 documents in front of the court. The quantam of punishment was pronounced on Friday.

It was in August 2017 when In an bid to stay in a relationship with her paramour the accused woman Neelam Sharma first gave some drug to her husband in his meal, as soon as he fell unconcious she and her partner both dragged him inside the kitchen and chocked him to death with the help of a rope infront of children including her son and daughter.

According to prosecution the accused woman Neelam was in a relation with another man Kailash Rawal,the deceased was a obstacle between the love affair of the accused persons.Following that they hatched a plan to execute him on 5th August 2017 they first gave some drug in his food and later they strangulated him to death with rope in front of their children.

Father of the deceased man Prabhu Lal Sharma on 6th August lodged a complaint in which he informed the police that on that day he was busy offering prayer when he got the information that his son was being killed. When he went to the Kitchen the dead body of his son Narendra was lying on the floor in a pool of blood.In his report he claimed that his son was being killed by his daughter in law Neelam and her freind Kailash.

The police later arrested the accused and both the accused accepted that they wanted to live togheter and for that they have killed Narendra and for that they have talked with each other on phone several times between 4th August to 7th August.

Public Prosecutor Advocate Kapil Todawat produced 30 witnesses and 58 documents infront of the court.

After  considering all the wetnesses and documents the court on Friday pronounced the verdict and sentenced both the accused Neelam and Kailash to life imprisonment, while acquitted two other people by giving them benefit of doubt.
