A tragic accident occurred in Chittorgarh where a 17-year-old student, identified as Tejpal from Thikariya village, was hit by a train while wearing earphones on Wednesday, July 24, 2024.

The incident happened as Tejpal was returning home from Jain Gurukul School. He was crossing a railway gate when the train approached. Despite the train's horn and warnings from railway employees and bystanders, Tejpal could not hear them due to his earphones.
