A national seminar and public lecture was organized today under the joint aegis of the Faculties of Management, Pharmacy and Law at Bhupal Nobles University, Udaipur today. Professor Dwarka Prasad Uniyal, a renowned management expert and Pro Vice Chancellor of RV University, Bangalore explained the various aspects of life management and positive thinking to the teachers and students present. "If you practice well, then you will always get success in the field of life", he explained, by giving the example of Sachin Tendulkar. He emphasized on being adaptive, reflective, developing resilience to survive in a VUCA world for Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity.

Dr. Uniyal talked about the triangle of balance of knowing, doing and being to manage student life efficiently. He exhorted the students to combine work with internship and give context to their theoretical learning. Dr. Uniyal, who is also a poet, enthralled the audience with his poem 'Wings of Hope' and inspired the students to explore entrepreneurship, take risks, try many avenues to practice their craft and work with an inspired and enthusiastic approach to develop a professional outlook towards life.

He highlighted three things, viz. learning, adaptability and resilience and explained their importance. He tried to explain from the dialogues of Rajesh Khanna's film "Anand", that the essence of life is not in its length, it is in living life.

It is worth mentioning that Professor Uniyal has served in many world class business schools in India and abroad. He guided the students that they should keep learning something, keeping their goal in mind at all times, without hesitation in doing any work. Maintaining harmony in work and life, he also highlighted the 'knowing, being, doing' triangle that by using them, listening, contemplating and giving a special place in life, then the garden of life can flourish. Promising oneself, hard work and strong intentions will make success certain. He also drew attention to the 'Modern Day Business Complexities and Carriers Across'. The concept was explained for reference by many live examples from life.

The event began with a welcome address by Professor N.B Singh, President of the University where he touched upon 100 Years of the BN Institute. Bouquet and memento to the chief guest was presented by President Prof. N.B Singh, Registrar Parbat Singh Rathore, Public Relations Officer Dr. Kamal Singh Rathore.

About 200 students including Pharmacy Principal Dr. Siddhraj Singh, Management Principal Dr. Rajni Arora, Dr. Dimple Singh Gaur, Dr. Shubhi Dhakad, Dr. Sutikshan Singh, Head of English Department, Dr. Jayshree Singh, Shaurya Ranawat, Dr Anshu Sharma, Dr.Jitendra Singh, Dr. Ram Singh, Dr. Bhavani Singh, Hitesh Kothari were present in the program. The program was anchored by Dr. Kamal Singh Rathore and the vote of thanks was given by Dr. Jitendra Shrimali.
