Udaipur Doctors felicitated by Prime Minister of Kuwait

 

Udaipur Doctors, Dr. Dal Chand Dangi and Dr. Abhishek Dangi were felicitated by the Prime Minister of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah for the services rendered by them in Kuwait during the COVID Pandemic.

Rather than leave the country, the father-son duo chose to stay back and help those in distress during the tough phase of the pandemic in the country. The felicitation included a national "Certificate of Gratitude and Appreciation" from the Prime Minister accompanied by a cash award equivalent to Rs 30 lakh for Dr. Dal Chand Dangi and Rs. 15 lakh for Dr. Abhijit Dangi. The award was given at the Kuwait Palace.

Dr. Dal Chand Dangi and Dr. Dr. Abhijit Dangi have been serving in the health fraternity at Kuwait since 1991 and 2013 respectively, said Dr. Dal Chand Dangi's elder son, Dr. Prakash Dangi. Dr. Prakash Dangi, who is a Gastroenterologist was himself in Kuwait for quite some time, after which he returned to Udaipur and now runs Prime Hospital in Udaipur. His wife Dr. Geeta is the Director at Prime Hospital. Dr. Abhijit Dangi's wife, Indira Patel is an Architect in Kuwait. The Dangi family originally hails from Jhanjhola near Khemli, Udaipur.
