Udaipur Strength Lifter and Body builder, Anil Saini, brought laurels for India, after he clinched 2 Bronze Medals in the 95kg Category at the 10th World Strength Lifting Championship.

The competition, across various categories, viz. Junior, Sub Junior, Senior was held for both Men and Women paricipants at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium in Hyderabad, Telangana. Chandresh Soni, the Secretary of the Rajasthan Strength Lifting Association, Udaipur, informed that there were 250 participants from 13 countries in this competition, which was held from 18-21 December..

On his return, Anil Saini was welcomed by Pramod Samar, the President of Indian State Lifting Federation and the Manager of the Indian team, Chandresh Soni along with members of the Indian Federation.
