Trust in Honor of Shaheed Major Mustafa Bohra

Inaugural session organised in the Guest Auditorium at Mohan Lal Sukhadia University

 

The inaugural session of the Shaheed Major Mustafa Trust was organized at the guest auditorium of Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur on 30 April 2023. Chief Guest of the program, Ali Asgar Bhaisahab, the Aamil of Ezzy Mohalla in Udaipur, Commanding Officer of Rajputana Rifles from Military Cantonment, Udaipur; Special Guest, Social Worker Mobarik Khan; Principal of St. Paul School, Father KK George were present during the inaugual session. Father KK George Chaired the Inaugural Sesion.

Parents of  Late Lieutenant Abhinav Nagauri and the mother and sister of martyr Lt. Archit Vardiya, who were martyred on the border, were also honored and a tribute was paid to the brave sons of Udaipur. Patriotic songs like Vande Mataram, O Mere Watan Ke Logo, Mera Rang De Basanti Chola made the atmosphere more patriotic and overwhelming. Martyr Major Mustafa's fiancee also participated in this program along with her parents. The atmosphere was that of pride.

"Of course I have dedicated my son to  the cause of defence of the country, but through this trust Mustafa will remain immortal in the hearts of all of us. Planting seeds are necessary for the growth of a strong tree...similarly this trust has been established  to one day grow into a huge tree under whose shadow many noble tasks will be undertaken and the name of Major Mustafa will live on forever." - Fatima, mother of Shaheed Major Mustafa.

Program coordinator Rohit Bansal informed that Shabbir Hussain Mustafa, Kheroda's Pannalal Maru, Ravindrapal Singh Kappu, Anees Miyaji, Tahir Bhai Bhinder, Hasan Ali Paliwala and other social workers and educationists, members of Shaheed Major Mustafa Trust, Fatema, Zakiuddin, Abdul Latif Mansoori, Alfiya, Ali Hussain, Mukesh Menaria were among the people present on the occasion. The program was guided by Dr. Iqbal Sagar, Dr. Khalil Agwani, Salim Agwani, Amrin while the operations were conducted by Jayshree Nagda.
