Singhal family in Ayodhya - Udaipur's presence at the Ram Mandir Bhumi Pujan

The contribution of the late Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Ashok Singhal was recognized by the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust, when Udaipur based Singhal family was invited to the Bhumi Pujan on 5 August at Ayodhya.

Salil Singhal, his wife Madhu Singhal and son Mayank Singhal were present at the Bhumi Pujan event at Ayodhya.  Salil and Madhu Singhal performed the role of Mukhya Yajman (Main Host), and were the only couple at the Bhumi Pujan platform, which consisted of the chief priest Pandit Gangadhar Pathak, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, UP CM Adityanath Yogi, Anandi Ben Patel, Narad Bhatrai and Pandit Vishtacharya.

Arvind Singhal, younger brother of Salil Singhal, in an interview to media said that the ram Janmbhoomi Trust had invited the entire family to the event. However, in the wake of the COVID situation in Udaipur, the family was represented by Salil Singhal, Madhu Singhal and Mayank Singhal.

The Singhal family, a prominent business house in Udaipur, hails from Agra in Uttar Pradesh.  The late Ashok Singhal, global head of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, was the uncle of Salil and Arvind Singhal. He was the architect behind the VHP’s agenda of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya.

Meanwhile the VHP international president Vishnu Sadashiv Kokje said that the Ram Temple was expected to be completed in 3 years.
