Udaipur's Dr. Shailendra Pandya Receives International Award in Dubai
Dr. Pandya Honored at Indo Arab Leader Summit and Awards
Dr. Shailendra Pandya, a young social worker from Udaipur and former member of the Rajasthan State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, received recognition for his outstanding contributions to child protection at the internationally acclaimed "Indo Arab Leader Summit and Awards." The event was organized by Indian expatriates in collaboration with the UAE government and Asia today on October 1,2024.
Dr. Pandya was presented with the award by esteemed chief guests, including the Honorable Minister of the UAE Government, Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al Kindi; Former Cabinet Minister of the Government of India, Suresh Prabhu; current Minister of Rural Development of Bihar, Ashok Chaudhary; renowned singer and Padma Shri awardee, Kumar Sanu; and the Indian Ambassador, who all extended their best wishes.
For the past 15 years, Dr. Pandya has dedicated himself to child protection, focusing particularly on the upliftment of children from tribal communities. His efforts have led to the rescue of hundreds of children from child labour, successfully integrating them into mainstream society. Due to his significant contributions, Dr. Pandya has been honored on various international and national platforms.
