Haji Mansoor Ali Rasoolji Valliji (RV), a senior and respected member of the Dawoodi Bohra community in Udaipur, passed away on 18 November 2023 at the age of 75 years.

Born in 1948, Haji Mansoor Ali's career with Hindustan Zinc Ltd spanned over 4 decades. He retired from active service as Chief Engineer, Mining Safety. He also played an active role in the Dawoodi Bohra reform movement and was also involved in service to the Dawoodi Bohra community in Udaipur. He also served as a member of the Board of Directors of The Udaipur Urban Cooperative Bank Ltd.

He is survived by his wife, Prof. Zenab Banu, who retired from active service with the Mohanlal Sukhadia University in Udaipur; two sons Shabbir Husain who is married to Munira and Hatim, who is married to Shaheen. He leaves behind his grandchildren Filza, Haider, Rehan and Aafreen.
