Aadil Raza Mansoori - in conversation at Lafz, Apni Bhasha, Apne Log

 

Aadil Raza Mansoori of Jaipur was the guest of honor at this month's session of Kalam - Lafz - Apni Bhasha - Apne Log. The session, organised by Ahsaas - Women of Udaipur under the auspices of Prabha Khaitan Foundation and Rekhta, was held at Hotel Radisson Blu, Udaipur on 27 August.

Shraddhaa Murdia of Ahsaas introduced Aadil Raza Mansoori and the Moderator, Mumal Bhandari.  Aadil Raza Mansoori is a prominent Urdu poet, writer and editor and hails from Jaipur. His edited anthology Khidki Mein Khawab is considered as one of the best by a young poet in the Urdu fraternity. Istifsaar is seen as a pioneering Urdu magazine and was awarded as Best Magazine and Best Editor 2017 by DPLB and India’s Ministry of Culture. Aadil Raza Mansoori was born in 1978, in Jaipur of India. Aadil got his Graduation degree (commerce) from Punjab University. He has done his management degree from Narsee Monji institute. Currently he is the Group Chief Executive Officer / Director of Core Logistic Pvt. Ltd.

Lafz series is aimed to promote Urdu, Arabic and Farsi languages. In conversation with Mumal Bhandari, Aadil talked at length about his love for literature and how he got inclined towards writing at a tender age. He also expressed how literature and culture adversely affected the art of writing,  He also recited some of his compositions, gazals and shayaris getting a huge round of applause after every composition.The interactions did not only promote languages, but at the same time, beauty of the language was relished by everyone in the audience.

Session ended with Mumal Bhandari thanking Aadil Raza Mansoori for enlightening the crowd with beautiful shayaris and ghazals.  Lastly, Swati Agarwal conveyed thanks to Aadil Raza Mansoori and all the members in audience for their active participation. On Behalf of Prabha Khaitan Foundation, a small token of thanks was given to Aadil by Riddhima Doshi.
