Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal to look after 8 portfolios including Home and Anti-Corruption
Bhajan Lal Sharma, the Chief Minister of the Rajasthan, announced the Portfolios of the Ministers in his cabinet today afternoon.
The CM has kept 8 Portfolios to himself, including the critical Home and Anti-Corruption portfolios, while his Deputy, Diya Kumari was handed over another key portfolio, that of Finance. 22 Ministers, including 12 Cabinet Ministers, 5 Ministers of State with Independant Charge and 5 State Ministers were announced last week at Jaipur and administered oath by Hon'ble Governor Kalraj Mishra. Of the 22 Ministers, 17 have taken up this role for the first time.
Cabinet Minister Babulal Kharadi, MLA from Jhadol in Udaipur has been given the important portfolios of Tribal Area Development and Home Security, while Cabinet Minister Hemant Meena, MLA from Pratapgarh has been given Revenue and Colonization. Gautam Kumar, MLA from Chittor and Minister of State with Independent Charge has been given the Co-operative and Civil Aviation portfolio.
