Tarachand Jain is BJP's Candidate from Udaipur; Vishwaraj Singh Mewar to fight the Nathdwara seat

Phool Singh Meena is being fielded from the Udaipur (Rural) Seat

 

Vasundhara Raje will contest the Jhalarapatan seat and Satish Punia will play on the Amer front for BJP.

The Bhartiya Janta Party declared its second list of candidates (83) for the upcoming Rajasthan Assembly Elections.

In a surprise move, the BJP is fielding Tara Chand Jain from Udaipur (Urban) and current MLA, Phool Singh Meena from Udaipur (Rural). The BJP is placing its bet on Kunwar Vishwaraj Singh Mewar, a member of the ertswhile family of Mewar, for the Nathdwara seat.

Ex-CM and one of the senior most leaders of the BJP, Vasundhara Raje Scindia has been fielded from the Jhalarapatan Assembly seat, while Satish Punia will contest from Amer.

Amrit Lal Meena will contest from Salumber, Kanhaiyalal Meena will contest from Dhariyawad, Gopichand Meena from Aspur, Deepti Maheshwari from Rajsamand, Manshanker Ninama from Ghatol and Kailash Chandra Meena from Gadhi are some of the other candidates. Chandrabhaann Singh Aakya, the current MLA from Chittorgarh has rested  in this election and instead of him contesting again, BJP has placed its bet on Narpat Singh Rajvi for Chittorgarh. The BJP is fielding Surendra Singh Rathore from Kumbhalgarh, Jhabbar Singh Sankhla from Asind, Vitthalshanker Awasthi from Bhilwara, Gopichand Meena from Jahazpur and Gopal Lal Sharma from Mandalgarh.
