July 10 2025 - The third match of the Test series between India and England will start today, i.e. from July 10, at the historic Lord's Cricket Ground. This ground is also known as the Mecca of Cricket. All eyes will be on Team India captain Shubman Gill.

Gill is in great form right now. He has scored centuries in three out of four innings in the two Test matches played so far against England. Gill has already scored 585 runs in two Test matches in this series, including two centuries and one double century. He now needs only 9 more runs to break Virat Kohli’s record of most runs in England by an Indian captain.

The record for most runs in a Test series in England by an Indian batsman is held by Rahul Dravid, who scored 602 runs in 4 Tests. Gill is just 18 runs away from breaking this record. If he scores well at Lord’s, he can become the highest run-scorer for India in a Test series in England.
