Udaipur, September 27, 2024 - The certificates awarded to school athletes now include Aadhar card numbers. This move by the State Education Department is for the first time and has been introduced from the 68th school sports competitions. The biggest benefit of this step, according to the department, will be to prevent the issuance of fake sports certificates. And this will prevent use of fraudulent certificates in future PTI (Physical Training Instructor) and other recruitments.

Currently, the 68th district-level and state-level competitions are being held across various districts of the State, including Udaipur. Competitions are in progress for the Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 age groups. Around 5,00,000 students from across Rajasthan are participating in these events.

Around 40 different sports events are being organised in all districts of Rajasthan, including rifle shooting, football, volleyball, archery and gymnastics. Recently, chess and other sporting competitions were held in Udaipur in which hundreds of athletes participated.
