IPL 2025 Auction - RCB Gets Bhuvneshwar Kumar at Rs 10.25 Cr 

Deepak Chahar sees drop in price to Rs 9.25 crore from Rs 14 crore; goes to Mumbai Indians on second day of auction

 

November 26, 2024 - On the second day of the IPL 2015 mega auction in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, fast bowlers came under the spotlight for hefty bids. The 34-year-old Bhuvneshwar Kumar went to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) who placed a bid of Rs 10.25 crore on him. He became the most expensive player of the day, crossing the Rs 10 crore mark. Bhuvneshwar had been with Sunrisers Hyderabad since 2018 and RCB would be his second IPL team.

Medium pacer Deepak Chahar, who played for Chennai Super Kings until last season, saw a drop in his price. He was bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 9.25 crore, down from Rs 14 crore.
