68th National Cricket Competition for Girls to Be Held in Udaipur
Udaipur, November 15, 2024 - The 68th National Cricket Competition for 19-year-old schoolgirls will be organized by Mahatma Gandhi Senior Secondary School, Sundarwas, in January 2025.
Participants from Across the Country
Vijay Singh Rawat, the school's senior physical education teacher, said that girls from almost every state will participate in this competition. The event, conducted under the Education Department, will feature cricket teams from various regions of the country.
First Meeting and Key Discussions
The meeting was chaired by Dr. Lokesh Bharti, the District Education Officer (Secondary). Dr. Ashutosh Tuli, the principal of the school, explained that the meeting focused on preparations for the event. Key topics such as accommodation, cricket grounds, transportation, meals, medical arrangements, and creating a souvenir for the competition were discussed.
The District Collector of Udaipur will serve as the president for this national-level event. Along with him, several education and sports officials attended the meeting.
