RCA Adopts Sushila Meena for Cricket Training
Udaipur, January 6, 2025 - The Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) has decided to adopt Sushila Meena, a talented cricketer from the village of Ramer Ka Talab, to support her cricket training and future development. This decision comes after a tweet by cricketer Sachin Tendulkar brought attention to her talent.
Udaipur MP Mannalal Rawat and MLA Kanhaiyalal Meena recently visited Sushila’s village. During their visit, they interacted with her and her family, assessed her cricketing abilities, and played cricket with her. They also observed the family's financial situation.
MP Rawat expressed confidence that with proper coaching, Sushila could bring recognition to Mewar and Rajasthan at national and international levels. He emphasized her potential in the sport.
In a visit to Jaipur, Mr. Rawat and Mr. Meena discussed Sushila's future with Rajasthan State Sports Council Chairman Neeraj K. Pawan. They requested further coaching for her development.
Mr. Rawat informed that CM Bhajanlal Sharma has directed steps to nurture Sushila’s talent. The RCA has now announced its decision to adopt her and provide her with coaching and necessary facilities.
Both MP Rawat and MLA Meena expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and the RCA for supporting Sushila’s future in cricket.
