Sports Authority sends Udaipur coach England for advanced Training

Wrestling coach from Udaipur, Harish Rajora is one of 25 coaches selected by Sports Authority of India (SAI) for special training in England. These coaches have been identified for special training with the objective of increasing the tally of medals for Indian athletes in International competitions.

 

Wrestling coach from Udaipur, Harish Rajora is one of 25 coaches selected by Sports Authority of India (SAI) for special training in England. These coaches have been identified for special training with the objective of increasing the tally of medals for Indian athletes in International competitions.

The training started on 13-May and will continue till 27 May in Birmingham. A total of 25 coaches have been identified from across different sports: Wrestling(4), Weight Lifting(4), Boxing(3),Badminton(3), Athletics(3) and one each in archery, swimming, hockey, cricket, basketball, handball, lawn tennis and canoeing.

The training sessions are held in Birmingham daily from 9 am till 4:30 pm. In the training sessions, the coaches are given both theoretical and practical trainings about increasing strength of players. Coaches are also being given special training about conditioning the players and improving their mental strength.
