Udaipur’s Tanishka to Play for Rajasthan in BCCI Cricket Tournament
Tanishka Choudhary of Dhar will play in the Under-15 Women’s team; first match on Nov. 21 against Goa
Udaipur, November 20, 2024 – Tanishka Choudhary, a student of Government Higher Secondary School, Dhar, has been picked to play for Rajasthan in the Under-15 Women’s Cricket Tournament organised by BCCI in Pune. Her selection for the BCCI games is for the second consecutive year.
According to PE teacher Neeraj Batra, Tanishka, a trainee of the SK Khetan Cricket Academy, is a left-arm spinner and all-rounder. She has consistently been outperforming leading to her selection.
Udaipur rural MLA Phool Singh Meena, Dhar sarpanch Bhagwati Devi Gameti, chief coach Manoj Choudhary, Principal Dr Satyanarayan Suthar and others like Shantilal Gameti, Vakta Ram Gameti extended their best wishes to Tanishka.
Rajasthan’s first match is slated against Goa tomorrow, November 21, followed by matches against Uttar Pradesh on November 23, Mumbai on November 25, Sikkim on November 27 and Madhya Pradesh on November 29.
