Udaipur: All India Civil Services Tennis Championship 2023 is set begin

In a thrilling display of sportsmanship, the eagerly awaited All India Civil Services Tennis Championship for Men and Women is scheduled to kick off on September 23, 2023, taking place at the prestigious Sports Village. The state government has allocated a budget of Rs 25 lakh for the event. The upcoming tournament promises to be a grand spectacle, drawing participants from across the nation who serve in various civil services roles. More than 350 officers belonging to civil services from across the country will participate in this 6-day tournament.
ADM Shailesh Surana has been appointed as the Nodal Officer for the competition, and District Collector Arvind Kumar Poswal will oversee the tournament. The district administration, under the auspices of the Personnel Department at the Government Secretariat, New Delhi, has intensified preparations for the tournament. All the officers are scheduled to arrive in Udaipur on September 22. For the tournament, four courts have been reserved at Khelgaon, two courts at Maharana Bhupal College, one court at RCA, and two courts at the Field Club.
The Sports Village, known for its state-of-the-art facilities and pristine tennis courts, is the ideal venue for this prestigious competition. Players will converge here to exhibit their tennis prowess and vie for the coveted championship titles. The championship will feature both Men's and Women's categories, ensuring an inclusive and competitive atmosphere.
