Udaipur Kickboxing - 3 day training and awareness camp concluded on 14 July

 

The three day camp organized by Udaipur Kickboxing Organisation concluded successfully on 14 July. This camp, organized simultaneously at 8 different locations across Udaipur, covered 142 students in all.

Subsequent to the recognition of Kickboxing as a sport by the Government of India, the perspective behind this camp was to create awareness towards the sport of Kickboxing. Interested candidates made a beeline to the centers to explore the sport and its possibilities. Experts in the sport from Udaipur gave a free 3 day training to 142 students across 8 centers. Vadrhman Singh Naruka was the trainer at Ambafala and Pratapnagar centers, Mangilal Salvi trained students at the Fatehpura center, Mukesh Joshi was the trainer at Bhupalpura center, Sanju Singh at 100ft Road, Kapil Soni at Sector 5, Hiran Magri, david Harry at Bhuwana and Pankaj Choudhary trained students at Gariyawas center. Hirendra Kataria, President of the Udaipur Kickboxing Organisation said that apart from training, the students were given information on the rules of the game, as well as the opportunities and facilities being provided by the Government of India towards propagating the sport of Kickboxing.

Udaipur Kickboxing Organisation is the representative body of WAKO, Rajasthan and affiliated to the Rajasthan Kickboxing Organisation. It is approved by the Wako India Kickboxing Federation under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and recognized by the Indian Olympic Committee.
