Udaipur: Powerlifting competition comes to an end with impressive performances
The Udaipur District Powerlifting Association organized the Udaipur District Junior, Senior, and Master Men and Women Bench Press Powerlifting Competition, which took place at the Luv Kush Indoor Stadium. During this fiercely contested event, Gaurav Sahu, an international player, clinched the prestigious title of Senior Strong Man of Udaipur. Simultaneously, Prachi Soni displayed her exceptional strength and determination to secure the coveted title of Senior Strong Woman of Udaipur.
The competition also witnessed remarkable performances in the junior category, where Devendra Nagda emerged as the Junior Strong Man, showcasing his outstanding prowess in powerlifting. On the women's side, Mahi Chauhan displayed remarkable strength and skill, earning her the title of Junior Strong Woman in a fiercely competitive field. This event not only celebrated the incredible talent within Udaipur's powerlifting community but also highlighted the dedication and hard work of these athletes in their pursuit of excellence in the sport.
After the competition, a prize distribution ceremony was held in Udaipur, and it was attended by various dignitaries. District Sports Officer Ajit Kumar Jain served as the chief guest, while Dinesh Shrimali, the President of the Rajasthan Powerlifting Association, presided over the event. Additionally, the ceremony was graced by special guests including social worker Bhushan Prakash Shrimali, businessman Bhupendra Menaria, Rajasthan Powerlifting Association Secretary Vinod Sahu, and international player Kamlesh Sharma. The entire event was conducted by Chandresh Soni.
