Vandana Sharma, a student enrolled in the fourth semester of the B.Sc. Yoga Science program at Udaipur University Yoga Center, has made waves in the National Yoga Asana Competition by clinching four prestigious medals.
Dr. Deependra Singh Chauhan, speaking on the remarkable achievement, disclosed that Vandana showcased her prowess at the Khelo India Women's Yoga Asana competition held in the Amroha district of Uttar Pradesh. There, she secured the gold medal in the group category and a bronze in the rhythmic pair category.
During the period from March 11 to 13, Vandana continued her winning streak at the 14th National Senior Women's Yoga Asana Competition, also hosted in Amroha. Organized by the National Yoga Sports Federation, she bagged two silver medals, one in the individual category and the other in the group category.
Remarkably, Vandana Sharma owes her success partly to the expert guidance provided by Raju Singh Khichi, a yoga instructor affiliated with the Rajasthan Police.
