Umpires for India vs South Africa Showdown in Women's World Cup 2025 Final

Both teams are aiming to win the Women’s World Cup trophy for the first time 

 

Udaipur, Nov 01, 2025: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed the officiating team for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 Final between India and South Africa. The match will be played on Sunday at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai.

Eloise Sheridan and Jacqueline Williams will serve as the on-field umpires for the big final. Both teams are aiming to win the Women’s World Cup trophy for the first time. Sheridan and Williams have already handled high-pressure matches in this tournament. The duo recently officiated South Africa’s 125-run semi-final win over England, according to the ICC website.

Earlier in the tournament, Jacqueline Williams also officiated the group-stage match between India and South Africa on October 9, where South Africa completed a remarkable run chase to win the game. Joining her in the officiating team for the final are Sue Redfern as the Third Umpire, Nimali Perera as the Fourth Umpire, and Michelle Pereira as the Match Referee.

Battle for World Cup Glory

The final will start at 3:00 PM IST at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy Cricket Stadium in Navi Mumbai, marking the end of an exciting and memorable tournament. India and South Africa will now battle for the Women’s World Cup title after defeating Australia and England, respectively, in their semi-final matches and both teams will be seeking their first ever World Cup.
