Air and train services between Delhi and Mumbai likely to be banned
-7500 covid positive cases were reported in Delhi on Friday.
-The direct effect is being observed in Rajasthan and Haryana as well.
The increasing numbers of covid positive patients are a matter of concern for any state. All safety measures are a must keeping in view that this pandemic can increase with the slightest of negligence. Following this, the governments are taking up all possible steps to prevent this virus from spreading.
On Friday around 7,500 people tested corona positive in Delhi and the government is thinking of getting stricter with certain things. The biggest blow due to the increasing numbers has come on transport services as Delhi government has banned air and train services from Delhi to Mumbai specifically as there a lots of people travelling between these 2 places daily. Not just Mumbai, but Rajasthan and Haryana are also getting affected by the increasing numbers of covid patients in Delhi.
However, no official statement has yet been made by the government of Maharashtra in this respect. It may also be noted that Delhi government has increased the fine for not wearing mask from 500 rupees to 2000 rupees.
If the air and rail services are shut down by these states, this will widely affect a lot of states which includes Rajasthan.
