Air India Announces Vistara Integration

Air India integrates Vistara’s flights into its network from November 12

Starting November 12, 2024, Vistara flights will be integrated into Air India's network. Even after the merger, Vistara’s travel experience will stay the same, with the same in-flight services, crew, and menus on board. However, Vistara flights will now operate under Air India's flight code. For example, Vistara flight UK 955 will become AI 2955 on the Air India website.

This merger will give passengers access to Air India’s network of over 90 destinations and 800 additional ones through its partner airlines. Vistara’s loyalty program, Club Vistara, will also merge with Air India’s Flying Returns, which will be rebranded as the ‘Maharaja Club.’

Air India is also upgrading its fleet. Its narrowbody planes will get new interiors and features like USB charging ports and device holders, with the first updated aircraft arriving by mid-2025. Additionally, six Airbus A350s are already flying key international routes like Delhi to London, with new services to New York planned soon.
