Akasa Air Takes Off to Jeddah: Expanding International Reach Beyond Doha
Akasa Air has acquired traffic rights for Kuwait and Riyadh
In a press statement released on Monday, 13 May Akasa Airlines announced that starting 15 July 2024, the airline will commence daily flights linking Jeddah and Mumbai, and will subsequently increase this to 12 direct flights per week starting 21 July, 2024. The announcement mentioned that Akasa Air has acquired traffic rights for Kuwait and Riyadh, demonstrating a dedication to rapidly expanding its international presence in the upcoming months.
Akasa Air aims to improve international connectivity with the launch of flights to Jeddah starting July 15, marking the airline's second international destination. After initiating operations from Mumbai, there will be the launch of two weekly direct flights connecting Jeddah and Ahmedabad starting July 20, 2024.
Additionally, the airline offers a convenient flight schedule, enabling travelers from various domestic cities such as Ahmedabad, Goa, Varanasi, Lucknow, Bengaluru, Kochi, and Delhi to benefit from numerous connecting flight options for their journeys.
