People travel a lot during festive season. Though the situation is quite different and risky this year, travel is one aspect which cannot be ruled out. Diwali is one such festival where people tend to travel more and flights are the easiest and the best option.

In view of the Diwali festival, flights are likely to be increased and the fares will also jump. As informed by the Director of Maharana Pratap Airport, pressure is increasing for Udaipur-Delhi-Mumbai-Bengaluru flights. As compared to 18861 passengers of September, October witnessed 27423 passengers (384 flights). It is also a matter of relief that none of the passengers in the Delhi-Mumbai-Hyderabad flights were reported covid positive.

Now that the Gurjar agitation has begun, there are all the possibilities that the flight fares for Delhi will jump. It has gone up by 1000 rupees and is likely to go up even further. Since Diwali festival is just round the corner, the fares of all flights are very likely to increase.
