Air passengers to be put on "No-Fly" list for violating covid guidelines
The central government has decided to become even stricter since the covid cases are on the rise again in the country. It was decided to put more restrictions on the passengers who do not follow the safety guidelines.
The Union Civil Aviation Minister said that passengers not following the SOPs will be put on the “No-Fly” list. He added that people have already been put on the no-fly list because of their carelessness. He said that the DGCA has been instructed to crack the whip as people are being negligent despite the SOPs and other guidelines.
Air travel is considered to be the safest as compared to bus, train or surface travel but negligence will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Passengers must not fail to adhere to Covid guidelines.
The government is not planning to curtail flight services, however 100 percent services will not be resumed. The aviation industry is back with 80 percent services and no plans of increasing this in the wake of jump in covid cases.
