On Raksha Bandhan, the Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation offered free bus travel for sisters. This annual initiative started at midnight on Sunday. In Udaipur district alone, 30,000 sisters took advantage of this free service. To manage the high demand, the depot deployed 80 buses.

Early morning saw long queues for travel, which continued late into the night. Pre-booking was also available due to the special service.

Meanwhile, Udaipur's markets were busy as people shopped for rakhi and sweets. Major areas like Surajpol, Mandi Ki Naal, and Delhi Gate were particularly crowded with customers.
