Jaipur Airport: Heritage Terminal for International Flights

Travellers will see glimpses of Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar, along with other monuments

Passengers travelling internationally from Jaipur have great news. Flights to Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Dubai, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur will now operate from Terminal 1 instead of Terminal 2. Passenger flights from Terminal 1 will resume on October 27, 2024, after renovation work that has been ongoing for six years.

Just like Delhi and Mumbai, domestic and international flights at Jaipur International Airport will start operating from separate terminals. An inauguration event for the new terminal will take place on October 26, 2024. The flight arriving from Abu Dhabi at 2:10 AM will land at Terminal 1, and it will depart for Abu Dhabi again one hour later.

Passengers arriving from abroad who need to take a domestic flight to another city will have a shuttle bus service available between Terminals 1 and 2.

The new terminal has been designed with a heritage look. Travellers will see glimpses of Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar, along with other monuments. Magnificent gates and chhatris (umbrellas) have been created at the entrance and exit, featuring red stone construction. This is likely to be the country’s first heritage terminal.
