The Railway Board has accorded approval for the Jaipur Asarva Superfast express. The Jaipur - Asarva train will run on the newly converted Udaipur-Asarva Broadgauge from 3 March 2023.  The journey from Asarva to Jaipur via Udaipur will begin from 4 March 2023. The Railway Board issued a notification to this effect on 27 February 2023.

The one way inaugural run of the Udaipur Jaipur Superfast will take place on 2 March 2023. The special superfast will leave Udaipur at 5:15 in the evening and reach Jaipur at 0035 midnight.

The Train No. 12981 Jaipur Asarva Jaipur Superfast will begin from 3 March and will be operational on a daily basis. The Train will leave Jaipur at 7:35 in the evening and reach Udaipur at 3:15 early in the morning the next day. It will depart from Udaipur at 3:25 in the morning and will reach Asarva (Ahmedabad) at 8:50 in the morning on the same day.

Accordingly, the Train No 12982 will leave Asarva at 6:45 in the evening from 4 March 2023 onwards and reach Udaipur 11:45 at night on the same day. The train will depart from Udaipur at 11:55 the same evening and reach Jaipur at 7:35 in the morning.

The stops for both these trains will include Phulera Jn., Kishangarh, Ajmer, Nasirabad, Bhilwara. Chanderiya, Mavli Jn., Ranapratap Nagar, Udaipur, Zawar, Dungarpur, Shamlaji Road, Himmat Nagar, Nandol Dehegam and Sardar Gram.
