October 14-15 | Two-day National Conference of Tourism Ministers in Udaipur

Udaipur, Oct 11, 2025: Udaipur will be hosting a two-day national conference for tourism ministers on October 14th and 15th at the Marriott Hotel, situated on the Badi road near Fatehsagar lake. This event will feature various attendees, including state governors, Union Ministers, and senior officials, with Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari representing Rajasthan.
District Collector of Udaipur, Namit Mehta has assigned responsibilities and coordinated preparations with officials from multiple departments, emphasising the need for a well-organized event befitting Udaipur's reputation alongwith enhancing the city's tourism and recently acquired MICE destination reputation. He instructed the establishment of a help desk and medical team at the airport, improvements to the access road, and the strategic placement of promotional materials throughout the city. Adequate security measures will also be implemented for the event, with the aim of ensuring a memorable experience for all guests, utilizing past event arrangements for guidance.
Key officials present at the planning meeting included ADM Jitendra Ojha, the UDA Comissioner Rahul Jain, UMC Commissioner Abhishek Khanna, DySP Traffic Ashok Anjana, Dy Director of the Tourism Department Joint Director Sumita Saroch, Dy Director Shikha Saxena and several department heads.
