Rajasthan has become the second state in India along with Delhi to launch its Tourism App. The Rajasthan Tourism App was launched on World Tourism Day simultaneously by the Tourism department of Rajasthan and Delhi. Kerala was the first state in the country to launch its Tourism App at an earlier date.
What is the Rajasthan Tourism App
Shikha Saxena, Deputy Director at the Regional Tourism Office in Udaipur, in an interaction with UdaipurTimes said that the Rajasthan Tourism App is designed to be one stop reference point for people traveling to Udaipur, Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Ajmer and other tourist spots in Rajasthan. One of the initiatives taken by Shikha was to facilitate sticking posters carrying the QR Code of the app on public places, tourist spots and in hotel entrances and lobbies across Udaipur, so that tourists can download the App directly and take advantage of its multiple features, including an SOS service.
