Roadways bus breakdowns have become a common issue, causing significant inconvenience for passengers. Recently, a roadways bus on the Udaipur-Ahmedabad highway broke down and remained stranded for two days, highlighting the growing problem of unreliable public transportation.
The bus, operated by the Udaipur Depot, was traveling from Dungarpur to Udaipur when it experienced mechanical failure. Local residents reported that attempts were made by employed personnel to repair the vehicle; however, their efforts were in vain as the bus failed to start.
Witnesses noted that breakdowns are not unusual for roadways buses in the area. These incidents often occur due to a variety of reasons, including running out of diesel or issues with the self-starter system. Such frequent disruptions create challenges not only for the passengers but also for local commuters relying on timely transport to reach their destinations.
