November 6, 2024: In a bid to attract more Indian tourists, Thailand has extended its visa-free entry policy for Indian nationals. The announcement was made by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), offering Indian travellers an opportunity to visit the country without the hassle of obtaining a visa. 

Originally set to expire on November 11, 2024, the policy extension now allows Indian nationals to stay in Thailand for up to 60 days. This is a great relief for travellers looking to explore the country, as they no longer need to worry about applying for a visa before their trip.

In addition, tourists can extend their stay by 30 more days. To do so, visitors will need to visit local immigration offices in Thailand and follow the necessary procedure.

This move is expected to boost tourism, making Thailand an even more attractive destination for Indians looking to travel without the extra paperwork.
