The city of Udaipur, situated amidst the Aravalli ranges, stands out as a notable tourist destination in Rajasthan. Udaipur experienced a rise in tourist numbers. In May this year, Maharana Pratap Airport witnessed a rise in air travelers compared to April. In May, 106,545 people opted for air travel, whereas in April, the number of arriving passengers was 101,522. There was a rise of 5,523 travelers compared to the prior month. 

The Udaipur Airport authority has issued the statistics concerning the travelers who arrived in May. However, the passenger count declined relative to January, February, and March, mainly due to the Lok Sabha elections and the intense heat. In May, Udaipur Airport experienced a decrease of 115 aircraft movements. The total number of aircraft movements in May was 1,077, compared to 1,192 in April.
