Udaipur Enjoys Long Weekend with Tourist Influx
Udaipur is experiencing a bustling long weekend starting from Independence Day on August 15, 2024. The city is packed with tourists who have flocked in from Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi. With 90% of Udaipur’s hotels and resorts fully booked, the city is ready to host visitors for the next four days. On Independence Day, many tourist spots in Udaipur opened their doors, and these attractions will remain accessible throughout the long weekend.
Popular Spots to Witness Crowd
A special offer is available from Thursday to Sunday at Pratap Gaurav Kendra, where the entry fee has been reduced to just Rs 50/-. Visitors can enjoy attractions like the robotic show and the 57-feet tall statue of Maharana Pratap. Usually, the ticket costs Rs 160/-.
Tourists are also expected to gather in large numbers at popular spots such as Saheliyon Ki Bari, Karni Mata Ropeway, Fish Aquarium, Sukhadia Circle, Mumbaiya Bazaar, Sajjangarh Fort, and Biological Park.
In addition, visitors can enjoy shopping for tribal arts and cultural products at the Aadi Bazaar Festival, held at Lok Kala Mandal, and enjoy boating in Fateh Sagar Lake.
