Udaipur city railway station is undergoing a transformation to achieve world-class status, with a budget of Rs 354 crores allocated for the project. Although the deadline for completion is set for November 2025, several facilities are starting in June or the following months.

ATM Facility

Outside the reservation office, two ATM cabins have been installed, with the railways handing them over to banks. These ATMs are to become operational in June, providing convenient banking services to passengers.

Parking Area Expansion

Moreover, the construction of a parking area with a capacity for 440 vehicles at gate number one has been successfully completed. This facility is expected to be operational by November of this year, offering improved convenience for commuters.

EV Charging Area

In addition to these amenities, the station will also feature  EV charging facility to accommodate electric vehicle users. Construction work has started on a building near gate number one, which will house various facilities. The ground floor will retain its current layout, while the first floor will be dedicated to officers  chambers. The second floor will have an lounge, a baby care room, and a separate food court.
